Ventura Film Festival Showcasing International Award-Winning Filmmaking to Ventura County

The Ventura Film Festival's founder and executive director was invited to join, accompanied by many of Hollywood's leading celebrities, in the 50th Anniversary of West Side Story and Hollywood's prestigious footprint/handprint ceremony honoring Oscar winners Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, together with Golden Globe champion Russ Tamblyn at the legendary Chinese Theater website in Hollywood. This gathering also operated as the official BluRay launch by Fox and MGM of the timeless West Side Story, which is commonly viewed by critics and fans as the greatest musical of all time. This prestigious recognition and participation highlights the festival's meaningful presence and esteemed status within the entertainment industry.
